The Giving Tree has provided my children such an awesome opportunity to help others. It is so important to me that they learn about giving and recognize the needs of those around them in their community. We are so grateful to have such a unique charity right in our backyard.

At first, it was about earning service hours for school..... but then I realized how much I could help out people in my own community. It feels good to make a difference.

The people involved in The Giving Tree made our community service projects not only meaningful but also easy to implement. After our initial brainstorming meeting, The Giving Tree completely took the reins and organized all the activities for each grade level. My entire school community was impressed! Our partnership with The Giving Tree was exactly what we needed. I look forward to many more years of collaboration with The Giving Tree!

Prior to meeting with Lauren Kormanick, a representative from Interfaith Housing Alliance, I was unaware of how much they do for the homeless people in close proximity to where I live. When Lauren explained what they go through on a daily basis, I was able to comprehend how much support the organization provides. The snack bags we assembled were only a small part of it. It was interesting to learn about how Interfaith helps these families in their transition out of homelessness. They offer educational classes and help people become more independent. I now understand the necessity of this charity and am excited to help them.

Giving others a helping hand when they need it is important and makes me feel good inside.
